All God’s Creation Studio
I earned a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University Bowling Green, Ohio 1973.
Teaching Art
I began my career by teaching elementary art in the Warren City Schools system for two years then moved to Orwell City Schools to teach another year of Middle school art.
Graphics/Printing
Switching careers I moved to Electronic Prepress for Cox Lithographing for ten years where I earned my Journeyman ship card in Photography, scanning and printing. I loved graphics so much, I later went on to work for three large printing plants and Graphic prepress shops in and around Cleveland for 30 years.
Retired
Three years ago I retired and fell in love with watercolors again. I couldn’t wait to get back into painting from my college days. I was fortunate enough to find a workshop that was being taught by Chris Leeper and that just changed my world. He is now my mentor and friend with his help I have made great strides in becoming a better artist. Since I retired, I have created my studio, think professionally and treat my art as a well loved job. I either paint or do research for my next painting about 20 hours a week. I am a member of Ohio Watercolor Society, American Academy of Equine Art, Trumbull Art Gallery, Trumbull Area Artists, Mahoning Valley Watercolor Society.
